New account went live yesterday however I only get the setup page. Account details added and I get the green tick but get no further.
Can my account be checked and activated if necessary?

Sounds like what happened to me. I did a factory reset of my plusnet router (adsl).
Advanced Settings -> Management -> Restart Router
It didn't seem to accept my broadband username and password in the browser until i did. However dont try this unless you're confident in what your doing. The advanced settings can mess it up further. If in doubt, ask a plusnet professional to fix it (which I am not).

Got in touch with tech support last night and they reset my account as I rebooted the router. All ok now.
