Cannot connect Orange Blackberry 9320 to UMA

I wonder whether someone would be kind enough to share their knowledge please ?
Plusnet support are unable to advise how I can  connect my  Blackberry using the Plusnet Thomson wireless router. The  BB Wi-fi is showing  a GPRS connection as well as Orange/EE  but  the signal strength in my house is  drop out poor and therefor needs the UMA  signal booster. Does thisneed a port change on the router ?

Just had a quick read on the 'net.  Looks to me like nothing needs to be changed, just connect to your wifi network and then turn on the signal boost function on the 'phone.
