Can you update my ip profile?

Hi,
My plusnet snr margin was reset at 11am yesteday and i was advised to reset the router 4 hours later which i did. The Snr margin fell from 12to 6dm and my sync speed shot up from 14 to 19.
all was good. There were no drops in the line after i reset the router at about 3pm yesterday.
my sync speed was 20mbps and my plusnet profile was at 12. so i called and they adjusted my ip profile up to 19 and my throughput matched

however my upstream snr margin was still stuck at 12 today so i reset the router at 1300 hours today. then my plusnet ip profile fell to 12.
my sync speed has no changed and my bt ip profile is still at 19 according to bt speed test.
Can plusnet please set my plusnet profile to match the bt ip profile and to match the sync speed i am getting as well?

Can plusnet nudge my profile up so it matches my bt profile and my current sync speeds?

Hi lukechen89,
Your profile with us is set to 19MB/s so you should be seeing those speeds.
Let me know if that is still not the case.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I can see that my plusnet profile now states 21mb.
just did a test on bt speed test, bt ip profile is at 19, which makes sense.
router sync speed is 20.
but throughput speed still seems stuck at 12.6.. this is puzzling. shall leave it till tmr and see what happens .

is my line banded?
i dont think so as the sync speed doesnt seem to suggest that, netither does the ip profiles..
can u advise?

It's not bandaed no, are you connecting wired or wireless?

wired straight via ethernet and also router is into test socket.
i was getting throughputs of about 18 yesterday though till the PN profile dropped..
puzzling..

something seems to be limiting the throuput to 12.5/12.6mbps

It seems the PN profile update too a while but it is AWESOME (not shouting just happy ), now throughput downstream is flying at 18:))
