Can you add a second wireless router?
Doesn't need to be a router - it just needs to be a Wireless Access Point.
Although, it might be cheaper to get a ADSL modem/router/wifi thing.
Things like DHCP and routing can be a bit tricky.
You might like to consider connecting the two ends of the house with home plugs, so using short bits of ethernet cable for everything.
That way, one router does everything.

Your best bet is to get a wireless extender

The line wont work correctly with multiple routers, the only thing with wireless extenders or home plugs is that if they do cause issues or turn faulty, they'd need to be removed to make sure the line and broadband is ok and you would have to refer to the documentation or the manufacturer if they are at fault. Generally they shouldn't involve much setting up or setting adjustment in any case.

Have to agree with 2nd post - buy a pair of Homeplugs - a friend and I spent a whole weekend trying to get a wireless extender to work at his house- we ended up in the pub because we got so frustrated - we tried DHCP then fixed IPs - but nothing worked - I'm sure it can be done, but you have to be very careful with the purchase of the extender - if you decide to go that way, research on the Net first in depth to ensure that it will work with your particular router model!!

I bought a pair a while ago and when I recently replaced the TV with a Vierra enabled internet TV bought a third. Had absolutely no issues with them whatsoever (and that includes one which is on the end of a long extension lead).
