Can't understand it

Synking at 2304 at the moment and have been well above 2016 for last six or seven days and BT still have me on 1500 profile instead of 1750. Plusnet have fixed my profile at 2000 at their end to help me get above the1500 as they haven't got a 1750 profile setting yet, but this hasn't helped. Perhaps fixing at Plusnet's end hasn't helped.
Any ideas

Re: Can't understand it

Are you sure your router/modem has not synced lower during this time as any one occurance will reset the 3 -> 5 day clock for increasing your IP profile.

Re: Can't understand it

Hi there,
Your IP Profile was changed to 2000Kbps at about 8am today.
Can you try rebooting to see if you notice an improvement?

Syncing at 2336 this morning but plusnet squeezing me to 1500 profile, despite saying they would leave me on 2000 to catch the 1750 bt profile. I shut my netgear DG834G down every night and it seems to be very steady all day. How can I check for drop-outs?
Any way off to Bellamadena later today, so I won't really care for a fortnight.

James
I'm back from hols now and ready to pester you again!
I am having problems with responses to a question I have sent ( ID: 24506472 ) regarding the same 1750 profile matter. I do think it is time that Plusnet (The Top Provider) got their act together on this matter as it does matter to us country bumkins who are distant from the exchange. Anyway the last response I got from the support team was "to change to Maxdsl"! I wasn't impressed! I think I was one of the first to be put on this by Plusnet a long time ago.
It was great before I went away and recorded some speeds of 1800 at times. That's amazing for our "neck of the woods".

Hi Peter,
I've bumped your profile up again.
