Can't see my line stats on router

Hi Guys,
I can't see my line stats on the router (technicolor 582n), when I click on Broadband where it should read DSL connection it reads "WAN connection" and only shows the following stats:
WAN Connection
Link Information

Type: Ethernet
MAC address: XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-F2
Data Transferred(Sent/Received) [MB/GB]: 840.19 / 1.99
There is no option to click details.
----------------------------------------------------------------
If I click under internet and go to details I get:
Internet
Connection Information

Uptime: 0 days, 8:29:11
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/GB]: 636.72 / 23.36
Connection Settings

PVC Info (VPI.VCI): -
Type: PPPoE
PPP Settings

Username: ***@plusdsl.net
Password: ********
Connection Mode: Always-On
Service Name: -
Concentrator Name: bras-red9.bs-B226E1010E01NK
TCP/IP Settings

IP Address: 87.112.58.217/32
Default Gateway: 195.166.128.183
Primary DNS: 212.159.6.9
Secondary DNS: 212.159.6.10

Any idea how I can see my sync rate and general line stats etc.
Thanks,
Elliot

Re: Can't see my line stats on router

As you are on FTTC the only place to get this is the modem and it is locked down so, in effect, you can't
Downstream sync can be got by running the BT speed test further diagnostics and multiplying the IP profile by 1.033

No need for that - not that it'd get you anywhere.
ECI Modems can be unlocked by soldering some pin headers on the board and getting a UART connection where you can then enable telnet.
Huawei modems can be unlocked by uploading a new firmware which offers telnet and web admin access.
I've done both now (on my own, purchased modems - of course) and neither takes more than about 15 minutes.
