Can someone reset my line please?

Had a broadband fault yesterday. By a miracle an openreach engineer was able to attend today.

Engineer has been and the speed using his equipment to exchange was ok but still poor from router to laptop. There was an engineer in the area yesterday fixing faults so the engineer who came today thinks the fault has been fixed but my line needs to be reset. If that does not work, then it may be the router again.
I called Plusnet to get my line reset as  engineer said it would be quicker than waiting for his notes to go through, but the person I spoke to could not do it. He said that it was not allowing him to reset it. I need to get the line reset please.

Thanks very much, the reset has been successful, I'd probably give your line 24 hours to settle down and see how things go

No problem at all.

You shouldn't need to reboot your router, if you can leave it left on at all times, that'll give the line it's best chance of settling back down
