Can someone drop my net so i can get the speed increase?

BT Speedtest:
Download speed achieved during the test was - 2.07 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 1.2 Mbps-4 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 2.32 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 0.32Mbps
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 0.83 Mbps
Plusnet Current line speed:
2.3 Mb
As you know I cannot do this via my router so it has always been done by someone at Plusnet (not drop the line mind, I don't want to increase my SNR)
SNR Margin (dB): 3.4  11.0
Attenuation (dB): 65.0  38.2
Output Power (dBm): 13.0  0.0
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 3192  452
Rate (Kbps): 2624  371

I can't see what's wrong with those stats - your speed looks better than would be expected for your attenuation.

Re: Can someone drop my net so i can get the speed increase?

I assume that your IP profile increased recently but the increase in the Plusnet current line speed didn't trigger a PPP drop so your actual speed is a bit lower than you would expect
Are you sure that there wasn't an automatic PPP drop

What's wrong with those stats is the low upstream rate and high upstream SNR margin.

I'm assuming someone dropped my line?

Re: Can someone drop my net so i can get the speed increase?

I doubt it was anyone at Plusnet unless someone did a line test. The downstream speed is lower but the upstream speed is up to a more usual value.
