Hi there.
Fairly new customer here on ADSL2+.
I am getting the maximum download speed that my line can support, which is about 6MB, and that is fine. However, I am getting an upload speed slightly lower than the maximum speed that my line can support with stability, at about 880k. Is there any tweaking that you can do your end to increase it? The line should be able to stretch to just above 1MB at a SN margin of 6.0/6.0, which is what I maintained on Be Unlimited for a few years.
Hey I know it is not much short of that, but it all counts!
Thanks
danyul

Upstream bandwidth is limited to about 888k if interleaving is on for the upstream. It's possible for the automated DLM to switch interleaving off for upstream but have interleaving on for downstream, but I don't think it's possible for Plusnet to have it fixed so that it always stays like that.
I think the only thing that could be done is for you to "opt out" of interleaving for both upstream and downstream, but that might reduce your downstream bandwidth and/or overall line stability.

Thanks ejs. I didnt realise interleaving was on. I will raise a request to have it turned off and see how that goes. i would be happy to lose some downstream bandwidth if that gave me a bit more upstream bandwidth.

I've placed a SNR reset on your line which should remove interleaving from your upstream, this till take up to 4 hours to take effect.
