Can I have my phone line moved?

Well, BT are rolling out fibre to our vilage, but several of the cabinets are not getting it.  Mine included.
Does anybody know if it is possible to have a phone line shifted to another cabinet?  Or indeed another new line installed from a differing cabinet?
It would appear that our cabinet although serving around the same number of houses as every other cabinet in the village (if not more than some) is deemed not commercially viable.
Im quite happy to pay for a new line install, and Im even quite happy to pay double the FTTP cost to get it to our property, are BT at all interested in undertaking something like this, or is that it, stuck on ADSL2 forevermore?  No cable, no fibre and a Market 2 exchange.?

Do the local council have any BDUK supported plans to provide FTTC to your cabinet?

I'm afraid BT won't let us get a line re-routed to a different cabinet.
I feel your pain though! I live equi-distant from 3 different exchanges.  2 have fibre, the other one (mine) isn't even in their roll out plans.  It just happens to be the largest exchange in Sheffield!
