Is it possible to download my "view my broadband usage" data in some raw form so that I can process it myself to get early warning of something eating bandwidth unexpectedly?
If I could, say, set up a cron job to ftp a file periodically that contained usage data in xml or csv.
Thanks.

Hi, unfortunately this functionality is not available. It's probably possibly to write a script to screen scrape the data and process it to your liking however it would be a lot of hassle with relatively little gain. It might be worth looking at a local bandwidth monitoring solution like Networx. If your router supports SNMP then you can use it to pull your usage figures straight from the router.

Thanks for that Bob. Any suggestions for an open-source solution (Linux) ?

None that I've any personal experience with but I'm sure there are quite a few out there. Wouldn't surprise me if somebody pops along soon with a suggestion...

I remember many years ago using Kermit to grab data off webpages and mainframes and parsing it into my own spreadsheets.
