Business BB Packet Loss

Hey Guys, just wondering if this is a service issue or not, we seem to be loosing a lot of packets across to international websites, particulalry america, and they cant seem to route back to me. Any Ideas?
the best thing I can give diags wise just now is the ISA error:
Technical Information (for support personnel)
Error Code 10060: Connection timeout
Background: The gateway could not receive a timely response from the website you are trying to access. This might indicate that the network is congested, or that the website is experiencing technical difficulties.
Date: 09/10/2007 14:35:17
Server: dscn-termag1.netserv.intra.dscore.net
Source: Firewall
i know my gateway is not busy, can get all uk sites (google.co.uk, ebay.co.uk, bbc.co.uk etc) all ok.

Hi mcgurka
Sorry to hear that you are having problems.
Do you know if there is any similarity with the destintaion IP addresses?
Could there be a possibility of a NAT / firewall rule preventing TCP traffic for certain IP's?
I just love diagnosing ISA errors. It's so much fun.....not Smiley

Re: Business BB Packet Loss

dnsstuff.com times out, microsoft.com are the main ones i use day to day, seems to be a bit sporadic as to wether i get pages or not.
Dns resolves the issues all fine
I was working on a trace as you type! Tongue
seems to start dropping when the packets hit the transport links to america...

Re: Business BB Packet Loss

Hi guys,
We're experiencing issues with one of our transatlantic routing providers, as are numerous other providers it would seem.
You can see the P1 relating to this here, and there is a Service Status out.
More info as we have it.

This should now be fixed. Can you let us know if you're still having issues please?
