I've been on ASDL 2 for years now and have just gone to Fibre Optic. The router supplied for free is, lets face it, very good but a little like a childs early learning computer with limited Firewall and access restrictions. I've always had more POWER from my routers and am therefore looking to purchase a Buffalo Cable router. My previous ASDL 2 Modem\router is a LinkSys and they firewall on this is superb.
Has anyone used a cable router with Plusnet Fibre and have you experienced any issues with doing so?
I've always like the Buffafo routers and they have the added POW of being flashable with a custom firewall.
