Broadband stopped working

Hi,
I've had my broadband hooked up to an extension socket in the living room fine for the past few years. Recently been upgraded to ADSL2 but now my broadband has stopped working in this socket, phone line works fine through it.
I hooked up my router to the master socket in the hall way and this is ok. Could my extension faceplate be blocking or causing an issue with the new service?

What are the reported stats from the router

there's nothing as the router doesn't sync up with the line! Just has the orange flashing light and not even a sync light.
