Broadband speed

My broadband speed has continued to increase over the past few months, I suspect this could be due to Fibre becoming available in this area a few months ago and a number of people moving across to it.
Has anyone else noticed gradual speed increases when fibre has become available in their area and they have remained on the standard system ?

History below, the massive dip was earlier Monday when I was testing my new Samba SIM in my 3G dongle, as PN BB backup
(0.66mb/s !!)

The multi varied portion was when I was having BB breakup problems, 50 times in 3 days !!
Sorted after a visit from an excellent BT Engineer who changed my line to the Exchange, 460 metres away.
