Broadband speed has reduced by 50%

Good Morning.

 

My broadband speed has dropped by 50% over the pass two days.

Below are my router stats.

Line Status:Connected

DSL Modulation Type:ADSL_2plus

Annex Type:Annex A/L

 

  Upstream Downstream
Current Rate (Kbps) 712 2739
Max Rate (Kbps) 944 2544
SNR Margin (dB) 4.6 2.1
Line Attenuation (dB) 31.2 50
Errors (Pkts) 0 0

 

Has there been a profile change on my account?  I have been achieving a constant 6Mb connection over the past 12 months.

Our tests are shown what's known as a 'High Resistance' fault.

Have you gone through all the steps here?

Hi Matthew

The modem is plugged into the master socket has been re-booted, the microfilter has been changed but I see no change in the connection speed.  We have had no problems since we have been with Plusnet and have had quite a stable 5-6Mb connection speed for the past 36 months while we have been at the property.
