Thank you!

Hi @Lodge01
Tests aren't showing me any obvious problems so I'd advise heading to http://faults.plus.net if that's still an issue.

Re: Broadband speed dropping

Does https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=data_transfer_speed say your current line speed is 7.15Mb? If it does I suggest you try a single disconnect/connect via the router interface to see if that restores normal speeds.

Re: Broadband speed dropping

Hi again, Thanks for replies!
Returned an extremely poor 0.14mbps speed test result today.
Estimated line speed:8Mb (Download speed could vary depending on line conditions.
Estimates are the maximum speeds that your phone line can support.
These speeds are dependent on the package you choose.)  - Checked on 2013-10-12 14:27:44
Current line speed:7.15 Mb

Have reset & interfaced with router, dis/reconnected service. Only just a mild improvement in speed.
Checking connectivity reveals frequent dropouts to gateway & DNS server 1 + 2.
Surprised to learn your not detecting this at your end!
Have checked all cables at my end, all is as it should be!
Will follow your fault link next.

Re: Broadband speed dropping

Can someone at Plusnet please help us fix this. Or at least offer some type of explanation.
We're unable to even use for leisure, in one family members case, complete very necessary work.
We're getting an Error message on the 'Faults link' previously posted.

Re: Broadband speed dropping

Hi there,
Glad to see you've had some replies to the ticket since you posted. It looks like we're just waiting for an issue preventing us from running a certain diagnostic test from being fixed, hoping to see that done today.
