Broadband speed drop

I have recently been messing around with my modem and have been switching it on and off a lot.
Since then my speed seems to have dropped down from around ~28 - 30 mb/s down and 5-6mb/s up to 20 down 3.5 up.
How can I get these put back up to where they were?
thanks

Re: Broadband speed drop

Hi spudy12,
I've checked your line and I think your speeds have dropped as you say, due to the high number of drops the line has registered.
We really need to give your line some time to recover, which it will. It can take up to 7-10 days for your speeds to start picking back up again.

Re: Broadband speed drop

Thankyou for your reply.
Yes it would have seen a lot of drops due to the modem being switched on and off a lot (long story!)
Will see if it improves over the next week or so
Thanks
