Broadband disconnections

Hello
We have noticed our internet dropping out every now and then over the past 2/3 weeks. Is there anything that I or Plusnet staff could do to test our connection?
Nothing has changed on our end and as far as I'm aware the phone line isn't crackling.
Many thanks
Phil

Re: Broadband disconnections

That may not be classed as "frequent" but suggest you read this
http://community.plus.net/library/broadband/broadband-faults-guide-frequent-disconnection-fault-dcn/
Please post router stats.
Are you connecting via ethernet or wireless  if the latter  try via ethernet in case it is a wifi problem.
See if there are any changes going on at your exchange or even in your cabinet -eg is fibre new in your area

Fibre is going up in our area in October. Could this be the issue? Possible interruptions due to a new infrastructure?
