Broadband connection dropping out frequently

Hi,

My broadband connection has been dropping out frequently over the last 10 days. In fact its got so bad that I'm having to use a wifi hot spot on a mobile phone just to post this message and go through the broadband trouble shooter. I'm waiting to get a new microfilter so i can test that before logging the fault, but is there anything else that I can do to sort this out?

We can see a lot of disconnections:

Is the phone line clear? No noise when you pick up a handset and dial 17070 running the quiet line test?

No, the line seems fine and I cant hear anything on the quiet line test.

Will do. Thanks very much for your help, one last quick question. I've gone through everything on the broadband problems page but ts asking me to text my connection with a different router. Do i need to do this, or is it definitely a problem with the line?
