Broadband Usage

I've just come back to PlusNet after a few years with TalkTalk. I'm on a Value Tariff with a 10 GB limit. I've set a zero allowance so as not to pay any extra.
When I hit 10GB, do I effectively lose my broadband connection or is it throttled down to dead slow like it was on the old pay as you go?
Thanks
Tony

If you do hit the usage limit you've set your speed will be rate limited to 256kb/s until your next billing date.

Re: Broadband Usage

Thanks for that.
There are addons for Firefox that display Usage running totals - although I have not found one for PlusNet. They appear to rely on an xml feed from the broadband provider. Does Plusnet provide an xml feed of Usage or is it only accessible  on https://www.plus.net/view_my_broadband_usage/index.php ?

Re: Broadband Usage

Hi Wiredcharlie,
No we don't. I believe the Android and iPhone apps strip out the relevant figures from the html of the usage page on our website.
