Broadband Product Change

I used the product change facility this morning to change my PlusNet Broadband package, but so far I've had no email to acknowledge the change and when I go in to view the product, it makes no reference to the product change that I requested.
Is this normal, as I'm wondering if the request worked and is in the "the system"?

It will be in the system and will only come in to effect on your next billing date.
There should be a closed ticket on the account about it I think.

I changed mine a couple of days ago to fibre, and the only thing I got was an email regarding the engineer appointment.  I don't see anything else on my account other than the payment change in the billing section.

Your fibre appointment is still on track for a week today, your account product will change over to fibre on that date.
