Bridging a Connection
Hi All,
I've had a wonder around the forums and can't seem to find an answer to my problem so... I'm here
I have an Edimax AR-7265 Internet Router but a Cisco EA4500 which controls my WiFi and the rest of the LAN (which the internet router is plugged into).
My problem is I need to open some ports but there is a clash between the devices and having read a lot of posts I need to set up my Edimax as a bridge and get the Cisco device to login.
On the Edimax the two bridge encapsulation choices I have are 1483 Bridged IP LLC and 1483 Bridged IP VC-Mux, the second choice seems to work but will not allow me to access any secure sites so there is something going on.
Any help will be much appreciated!
