Blocked port?

Im trying to connect to a CoD 4 server.  But cant. I can ping the IP, but when I try and connect in game I get nothing. Wondered if maybe the port was blocked?  It's port 28961  IP 193.200.158.48

As far as I know the game has been added, there are some things we can do to find out what's going on if you wish. Please let me know if you change your mind.

Well the port isn't blocked, I can connect to a different server on that port.
And I can connect to a different port on the server above.
It just seems to be that combination of IP address and port thats causing problems.  Its definitely correct.  Any ideas?

The server isn't working properly? That's about the only thing I can think of. Sorry that's not too helpful.

What other ports are working on that IP, as I am getting connection refused (blocked on the remote side) from an off-network connection (ie, proving the problem outside of PlusNet).

28962 works from my end.
As far as I know the server is online. I'll get back to the guy that runs it and see if has any further suggestions.
