Hey all,
I've had this modem from day one with plus.net and now need an extra port to connect another PC to.
I'm not sure of the best way to go about this or what hardware to get
- new modem?
- modem/router?
- modem/ router with wireless?
Also not sure once I decide on an option how to transfer login details from the old Binatone to the new one?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

You just need a 4 port modem/router as long as you can connect the second pc with a cable(ie its not that far away). This is the best most secure option.
You can get a wireless which cost more and is less secure and slower if you dont want to use a cable. A cable speed is 100meg and wireless 54 meg max so cable is twice as fast and secure.
You dont transfer your login details you put them into the router so you never dial anymore the router does it all for you.
