Billing Quirk ... being billed today for usage 9 months ago.

It is my billing day today, when I look at my transactions page

I expect this list to show the most recent bill at the top, my account goes back to January 2001, which shows at the bottom of this page, I look up the list and see each each bill is on a 'later date'. When I get to the top of the list, it shows a transaction for 19/09/2007 and is described as "Account Billing (2007-09-19 to 2007-10-18) And Scheduled Payments".
I am not so worried but it looks odd to me. Sad

Hmmm, very strange.  All mine are showing as you'd expect.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Looking at the ticket history going back 3 or 4 months shows the billing scripts run at about 11AM and have not done so today, something could be up with PN.

Hi Godsell4,
I've just been upto Finance to have a quick chat about this issue.
They have informed me that it is something that we are aware of and you shouldn't be charged for the outstanding balance, because of the date that it is showing as being due to be paid.  It's currently sat with our development team and they'll be fixing it as soon as they possibly can.
Please accept my apologies for any confusion that it may have caused for you.

On each billing day there are 3 ticket created in the 'My Questions' part of the portal ... I have the one that indicates 'bandwidth usage reset' but not the other two that are indicating a new direct debit has been created.

The billing script ran at about 18:50 tonight and looks like it set everything right in the process.

This morning I have checked again, now maybe last night I did not notice or something has changed overnight, but I now have two invoice showing as pending!  Huh
Raised a ticket number 25102773 to deal with this.

I've just been speaking with Finance about this now that I'm back in the office and they have advised that this problem should be fixed for you later on today.
I'm sorry about the false hope last night!
