Darron,
Do you currently have your router plugged in and powered up so I can run some quick checks at this end?

OK James,
Sorry for the delay, router will be on from 16:45.
I'll leave it on from then until I hear from you again.
Thanks
Darron

Re: Best way to get broadband fixed?

Well, I don't know what's happened, but we noticed intermittent DSL lock yesterday from 22:45.
This morning at about 07:30 there was solid DSL lock and I had internet access for the 5 minutes I tried it.
Did someone do/change anything?
Thanks
Darron

Re: Best way to get broadband fixed?

Hi Darron,
Not entirely sure if anything has been done, but I've seen two connections from you. 6 hours yesterday and 2.5 hours and ongoing today.
Certainly looks promising.

Hi James,
Certainly does look promising.
It would be good to know what's changed.
What happens next?  Keep the support 'question' open and keep an eye on things?
Cheers

Thanks Darron.
I've passed the ticket back to you.  It'll close after 14 days, unless you send it back to us should the problem reoccur.

Re: Best way to get broadband fixed?

Things have improved, but still not ideal.
Friday 25th Jan.
16:00 - 21:00 no sync
21:00 - 22:00 sync lock OK & internet access
Saturday 26th Jan.
08:30 - 10:30 sync OK & internet access
Five hours of not being able to access the service isn't really acceptable, so I'd be grateful if someone can continue to look into this issue for us.
I'll leave the router powered up over the weekend in case you need to run further tests.
Thanks
Darron

You need to reply to the ticket to put the ball back in their court.
