Re: Back to terrible speeds.

Hmm, I wonder where they are getting that information from, as the guy I email is responsible for VP at BT.

BT customer service it seems. Could be a load of cobblers though.

Re: Back to terrible speeds.

Hi Zozobra,
Just had a reply...
[quote=BT]Hi Joanne,
I have checked the latest report from BT Operate and the notes advise that a new Dslam is scheduled to be installed as Smallbrook Exchange with an estimated completion date of 17/01/11.

Re: Back to terrible speeds.

Who would have guessed it? The work has been pushed back to the end of February.
What a joke BT are. The idea that we will have the best broadband in Europe by 2015 when the city centre of the second biggest city in the UK has had speeds of 300 - 400 kbps for the last six months. By the time the work is complete it will be 8 months of near dial up speeds. It's an utter disgrace.

Hi Zozobra,
I've just seen that too and I can't believe it. I'm going to look into a way of helping you improve things until the upgrade. I'll keep you informed.
