BT maintenance 17 April?

Were my disconnects caused by BT in the early hours of this morning or do I have a potential fault developing? I've also had a change of gateway at 3 PM this afternoon & a huge jump in latency.

Possibly this http://status.zen.co.uk/broadband/maintenance-outage-details.aspx?reference=237474 ?
But that says a 30 min outage.
Try a disconnect/re-connect to see if your latency comes down again to its normal level.

Thanks Andy for the info, I guess that was the cause. Yes, the router reset has lowered the latency & increased my speed. A new gateway for me, Ptn-bng01.
