BT engineering booked before broadband active date?

Hi
I have ordered Unlimited Fibre Broadband last week.
I have received a text saying my broadband service will be active on midnight 30/01/2013.... But BT engineering is booked on the 29th
Is that normal and how they going to test it even Fibre Broadband wont be active on the 29th?

I have something similar. My engineer is booked out for the 4th Feb but the text from Plusnet says my broadband service is due to become active by midnight on the 13th!

It's an auotmated message you have received, your services will go active on the 29th for you.

I've checked your account and it seems that the engineer is booked in for the 12th Feb 8am-1pm.
