BT engineer didn't show

I had an appointment for BT engineer this morning to investigate fault on line re: DSL line imbalance between 8AM and 1PM. No show.
Waited in all day just to make sure. No show. No phone call/card or anything. I know there's still some snow about but how about a phone call for courtesy sake? Always had 100 percent service so hope this can be rectified quickly?
