Re: BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test FTTC

It's a waste of time really. Tab3 never gonna to work as I think BT knew this but they won't admitted it. Don't think BT really care about Tab3.

Re: BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test FTTC

The PT doesn't work for me at all - either using my address or circuit ID.
I tried it early in the morning, so I think it's safe to say it's not the SAM equipment being overloaded with requests.

Re: BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test FTTC

It's working ok today. But it's took four minutes to wait for the profile to show up! Why can't BT sort it out and get it quickly to show up IP Profile instant not 4 minutes to wait.

Re: BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test FTTC

That's pretty silly to change username and password.  Can't be bothered to change that on the router.  Too much the hassle.

Re: BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test FTTC

The whole idea of the TAP3 test is to determine if the problem is to do with your ISP or not, so to test that, it's necessary to disconnect from your ISP and connect to somewhere else!

Re: BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test FTTC

Fair point.  I wouldn't use it unless if there is a fault slow speed then I will use Tab3 test.  But,  I had no problem with the speed last four months now.  But,  of course it can happen if there is slow speed down to BT network or plusnet network.
