BT Tester question

Hi All
I notice that when I run the BT Speedtester I get a "continue" button in the lower left as apparently I have additional services associated with my line.
Clicking on that takes me to a page where it has a tick box against "Assured Rate"
Now I think this 'service' appeared when I got shifted to ADSL2+ but would not be 100% sure that was the case, I certainly do not recall asking for this service, so what is it and do I need it and if not could it be affecting my "normal" connection speed which has dropped this evening to 2.8Mbps Sad  I was holding tight to 3.0 with a BT IP of 3.15, PlusNet IP of 3.1 and sync'ing at 3567, so the IP is right but the speed is dragging somewhat!
Any insight about the assured rate would be welcome  Smiley

Re: BT Tester question

I think your connection is configured by BT for receipt of BT Vision even though that is a BT service which Plusnet don't provide. The "additional services" mentioned by the tester is that one. The test is meaningless for us.
