This is NOT a Plusnet question because AFAIK it does not apply to Plusnet but what does it mean if the BT speed tester at http://speedtester.bt.com/ doesn't give you an IP Profile (as happened this morning testing a Tiscali line). Does that mean it is a fixed (max.) line rate service and so not subject the the vagaries of BT's DLM system?

If there isn't any mention of a profile it usually means you are on a fixed rate line not Max on a BT line but in the case of LLU (aka Tiscali) then there just isn't an IP profile and you get the maximum speed with no stupid restrictions
Actually I didn't think the Bt speedtest worked on LLU so it may be a fixed speed BT line
