Also I am currently waiting for interleaving be switched off and I wanted to find out if this has an effect on the profile too?
IP profile for your line is - 3500 kbps
DSL connection rate: 832 kbps(UP-STREAM) 4896 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 3235 kbps
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed!

If you have very few errors, switching off interleaving will give a small increase in speed and a worthwhile decrease in ping times.
If you have many errors, switching off interleaving will drastically slow your speed.
4896 kbps(DOWN-STREAM) should give you a 4000Kbps profile.

Would the following stats imply I have a high number of errors that will actually mean I have slower speeds when interleaving is switched off?

Uptime - 36 hours
Mode: G.DMT
Type: Interleave
Line Coding: Trellis Off
Status: No Defect
Downstream Upstream
Rate (Kbps): 4896 832
SNR Margin (dB): 7.1 10.0
Attenuation (dB): 47.0 27.0
Output Power (dBm): 11.9 19.6
Super Frames: 7686106 7686104
Super Frame Errors: 738 157
RS Words: 522655254 65331884
RS Correctable Errors: 15019914 416
RS Uncorrectable Errors: 11415 N/A
HEC Errors: 670 137
OCD Errors: 144 0
LCD Errors: 0 0
Total Cells: 1508778825 0
Data Cells: 54271660 0
Bit Errors: 0 0
Some people suggest that rebooting the router at an off peak time could help but I have steered clear of rebooting unless there is no internet at all.

Thanks in advance for any further help.

However it's worth trying interleave off to see how you get on.

Had to reboot the router once, but its been stable for a couple of days and the speed difference is great. I am getting nice low pings of 25ms which, along with a recent regrade of my line has brought my ping down from 75 to 40 and now after you switched interleaving off, 25 which is spot on. Played some PS3 games like UT3 where the ping times are crucial and I definately have the edge speed wise. I am not aware of problems with packet loss. The router stats show:
Mode: G.DMT
Type: Fast
Line Coding: Trellis On
Status: No Defect
Downstream Upstream
Rate (Kbps): 5280 832
SNR Margin (dB): 6.4 10.0
Attenuation (dB): 47.0 27.0
Output Power (dBm): 11.9 19.6
Super Frames: 5883538 5883536
Super Frame Errors: 5916 89
RS Words: 0 0
RS Correctable Errors: 0 0
RS Uncorrectable Errors: 0 N/A
HEC Errors: 2428 55
OCD Errors: 16 1
LCD Errors: 0 2
Total Cells: 1245528562 0
Data Cells: 24523923 0
Bit Errors: 0 0
Total ES: 2559 0
Total SES: 38 0
Total UAS: 14 0
I think it has been beneficial to switch interleaving off and seeing as the line is stabilising I think this will be good. I take it the stats aren't showing anything negative to suggest otherwise?
Thanks for your help with everything.

But wait a few weeks/months and BT will decide your equipment is **** and can only connect at sluggard-speed.
I'd recommend that you do regular speed tests (and ping tests if this is important to you).
