Afternoon folks,
Just thought I would give you all a quick update to let you know that BT have released information that details a fix is incoming for the TAP3 Diagnostics Test in an upcoming round of improvements. This should be due over the course of the next few months and we'll provide some more exact dates as we get them!

Thanks for the update.
The next few months   They said that last time back in April or May (to be fixed in June) but nothing happened. I'd like to be optimistic, but past indicators are a guide of future performance when it comes to the BTW Speed Tester.

@ AndyH Yeah I remember that. They did say that last April. Not gonna hold my breath exspecially with BT.

I totally understand the scepticism but I've seen the resource allocation so I don't see why this wouldn't go ahead given that this information release has gone out to all their customers.

Thanks Adam C. All we do now is sit back and wait and see what BT might bring us but could be new lay out on BTw PT when BT fixed it soon.

Biggest load of old tosh out this BTW test, especially "further diagnostics".
After two attempts.

1. Best Effort Test:
Download Speed : 49.46 Mbps
2. Upstream Test:
Upload Speed : 13.64 Mbps

Your speed test has completed and the results are shown above, however during the test an error occurred while trying to retrieve additional details regarding your service. As a result we are unable to determine if the speed you received during the test is acceptable for your service. Please re-run the test if you require this additional information.

If you are a brand new connection, you may get that. Try again in a day or two. Otherwise, it's because it's borked and that's just one of the responses.

I agree mate. Mine was the same. Feb to Aug was fine! The last 11 days now is no longer work! There is nothing we can do about it. That's why I asked Plusnet to put BT IP Profile time/date stamped along with PN IP Profile via member account if BTw PT never show up IP Profile.
BT are useless.

It won't work if the BT Speedtester is not responding because that's what it uses. Also some of it's messages are out of date.

Anotherone, my connection is 6 months old & have used the BTW tester before ok.

Well it is known to work sometimes but not others, so I'm glad you got a result this time.
