BT App 8am to 1pm 14/11/2008 Not turned up

Right after being able to get a morning off to arrange an app (just started a new job boss not too pleased) its now nearly 1pm and no show from BT yet  Angry . half a days pay lost thanks to BT and their so called appointment booking .

After a quick look on your fault ticket, the latest update we have from BT is that the engineer was dispatched just before 8 this morning. No updates since then however, I'd suggest letting us know if they haven't turned up in the next hour and one of our faults team can find out what's going on.

Well , a no show from BT , i called plusnet who said they would call me back to say what BT had said , nothing as of yet . Can someone give me an update please .

When will this now be resolved ? i see plusnet has made a mistake here , not sure how but i don't mean to be harsh but i'm out of pocket  of 6.5 hours pay , wouldnt be so bad if i got a visit  Embarrassed and in the dog house with my new boss not a good move .

I'm sorry about the issues that you have suffered.   
I have this in hand and have requested for someone to recheck this fault tomorrow morning to get the fault ready to book an engineering visit from an Openreach Engineer.

I don't think it may be needed, as the last update from BT is as follows
00 - Engineer Dispatched to Resolve Problem
As such, looks like a fault may have been found at your local exchange.  I'll be in touch once I have further information.

I've not had to have a BT visit - but when NP book a visit - does the customer get a message back on ticket that confirms details of fault, telephone line, address , appointment time etc as confirmation that the information has been forwarded to BT Openreach correctly Huh.
If not - then may be it should ?

Has BT reported back yet ?
