Awful Speed - Terrible Customer Service

I was wondering if any other customers have had a really bad experience with Plusnet? In all honesty, I feel like I’ve been scammed out of money by using their services.

My broadband speed has been consistently awful, very slow and occasionally completely drops. I’ve spent up to £400 over the period of using their services to use my phone as a hotspot.

When speaking to their customer support team, I’ve been made to feel like an idiot, pushed to upgrade or stay a “loyal” customer with various incentives but no real solutions.

I’ve cancelled with them after my contract ended, but I am still being invoiced and being sent payment reminders.

Before going to Ofcom with this, has anyone had a similar issue that has been resolved?

I'm really sorry to hear you're unhappy with the experience you've had with our services and that you have subsequently opted to leave us. I can appreciate how frustrating it is when the service doesn't work how you expect.


I can see that you have raised a complaint to us and this will assigned to a case handler who will be in touch within the timescale mentioned when raising.

i m getting a download speed of 1.02 mbps which won t allow any of the streaming services to run without constant buffering.this isn t what i pay for.
