Asking a simple questiion of support has become an obstacle course!!

I asked for following question in the questions section of my account: " When I first got fibre broadband installed more than a year ago, I got download speeds of 50-60Mbps and upload of 20Mbps. Over time this reduced to 39Mbps download \ 2Mbps upload (same equipment which is working OK). Last month, i received an email detailing changes to my service - some increase in charges and a promise of better broadband speeds. I've seen no change in my BB speed at all - should I have? Thanks"

 

  PN refused to answer and pointed me to chat - number 47 in the queue - seriously!     Why are you making it so hard to make a simple quick enquiry?

It looks like your service has been incorrectly downgraded to 40/2 in line with what the package currently offers, I believe this is somewhat due to the fact that although you did sign up for 40/20 (Which has since changed to 55/10) the order completed after we stopped providing 40/20.

 

I'll get this corrected to get you back on 55/10 and the order should complete within the next 24 hours.
