Are weekends included in free usage?

Hello, I've probably missed this somewhere I'm positive I'm right but am I right in saying that weekends (Friday Midnight to Monday 8am) are included in my Free Usage?

Kind Regards,
Sparx

I'm afraid not, it's only nighttimes - perhaps you're thinking of Plusnet's phone products which include free weekend calls.

Hi Sparx,
It's not censorship - the full quote of the previous message was removed from your last post because:
a) You're replying to that message
b) It makes the forum look a bit cleaner and easier to follow
c) It's one of the forum rules
Fyi, in case you weren't aware, our moderator team are actually just customers like you, and not members of Plusnet Staff.
Peak time on our network, is when the network is busiest.  It's also busy at the weekends, hence why we can't make them off peak periods too, otherwise we might have had to make our products a little more expensive.

Re: Are weekends included in free usage?

Don't worry about it, was just kidding ^^ Smiley
Got interleaving disabled this morning and getting about 17ms ping to UK servers, is it possible to have a better level of FAST path or is there something to reduce my pings even further at all on request maybe?

Thanks.

Re: Are weekends included in free usage?

17ms ping response is very good!
We don't have any way of improving your latency further.  We can turn interleaving off, but that's pretty much it I'm afraid.

What do you get if you ping one of the Plusnet DNS servers? (eg 212.159.6.9)

Got the exact same pings to both the OpenDNS' and PlusNet's DNS servers.
I'm from the north east of England by the way, in Grimsby..

Re: Are weekends included in free usage?

when i went on max prem(double upload) my ping had 1-2ms knocked of it.
But nearly £8 a month is alot to try and lower your ping by that amount.
As i understand it max prem gives you little more prioty at your bt exchange as well as 832 upload sync

Sparx stop quoting the previous in full, we dont do that here, look back at your posts where the moderators keep deleting your quotes, it not just you nearly all new people do it

Re: Are weekends included in free usage?

You don't quote the post your replying to? Why not? It's the whole point of the 'quote' feature.
Sorry for trying to make a bit more sense with my posts.
