Apple TV and iTunes. Frequent disconnections.

My AppleTV frequently disconnects itself from iTunes so I can't sync. The only solution I have found is to turn everything off. Unplug and also turn off the router and start it again. With my previous provider (vodafone) I had no such problems at all. Has anyone else had this issue and if so any ideas as to what may be causing it?

Software 3.0.2
iMac 2.16Ghz Intel Core Duo 2
Memory 3GB
Mac OSX 10.6.7
iTunes 10.2.2
Router: Thomson TGV585 v8
Software 8.2.7.7.

Hi ourjon,
If you connect wirelessly I suspect it may be that your firmware version 8.2.7.7 needs updating to the latest 8.2.7.8. I can do this for you but you will be offline for about 10 minutes. Let me know when this is convenient for you.

Hi Jojo, Thanks for replying. Sorry I haven't got back to you before. Hectic !!
I do connect wirelessly.
The issue still occurs so if you could update the firmware that would be great. Anytime is convenient for me. I can live without the internet for 10 mins....well almost! 😉

Awesome! Thankyou Jojo. The software has updated today and i have just clicked on iTunes and lo and behold there is my Apple TV.
