Anyone experienced DNS problems 23rd May 12pm -2pm GMT?

Resolving web pages timing out, lookups not working, LastPass saying "Can't get to login server".  Router's config page slow to come up, even after a reboot.
All this through a very stable VNC session through an SSH connection from work...and then suddenly it's all working again.
Was it just me?

Yes I had this for a minute or two about 45 minutes or so ago, connected to ptn-bng01, but it seems to have cleared up now.

Yup, all stopped here so switched to 8.8.8.8 for the moment and it works again.

I encountered this too.  Ran a number of nslookup queries which all timed out.  Switched to Google's DNS address and all OK.
I've noticed this problem profile a number of times when posting to the forums; all is fine and then for a couple of attempted saves, one gets page cannot be found check URL.
Something is badly broken or configured, because it appears that when this happens access to both DNS servers is lost.  I have previously expressed concern about both DNS servers being in the same subnet.

Well the first thing I always try is rebooting the router, but even the router's pages were massively slow to respond.  Why would that be, since I'm not using DNS to reach my router?
I can see why the SSH and VNC connections would be stable, since I established them from the other end so they were using my DNS servers here at work.

How's it looking now? Should be resolved so we'll monitor before closing the service status.

I had the the same, couldn't access any web sites/pages although all the router lights including internet were green.
Re-booting the router seemed to clear it.

It was resolved for me 5 minutes before I made my post, and it's been fine ever since.

Chris,
It coughed again at 18:30.
I see these symptoms nearly daily, particularly when in the forums.  I can setup some diagnostic feedback for you if it helps.  Just tell me what you need.
