Re: Any way of improving my speed?

Hi there,
Looking at your downstream attenuation and SNR I'm not sure you'll get much better than you are currently to be honest, 47dB is fairly high for attenuation and 8dB is close to the 6dB minimum for SNR. I'm not sure if the line state has changed but it seems likely if the speeds have dropped, as what you have currently is pretty much spot on for those figures. I guess the router's already in the master socket and everything else is filtered? If so it doesn't look like there's much can be done as things stand I'm afraid.

Re: Any way of improving my speed?

I guess something's changed on the line unfortunately. With regard to SNR, the lower the better as far as speed goes - you could try using some kind of custom firmware if there's any available for your router, some of these allow the SNR to be specified but if it's at 8 already I can't see the speed going anywhere near 6Mb.

Re: Any way of improving my speed?

Interleaving's currently off at the moment, not sure that turning it back on will help any really.
Is the router plugged in to the master socket (where the phone line enters the house) and is it plugged in via any extension cables? If you've moved the router from there to a different socket bear in mind that both internal wiring and extensions will add interference to the line and cause it to sync at a slower speed, that's a possible explanation for the change.
