Another activation query

Hi , I recently signed up for broadband and was told the order will be complete by 5th Dec. However when I called yesterday was informed it will be complete today. However doesnt look like the setup is complete or the service is activated.
When I connect the router , the internet light stays on with a RED light and i get a message on the browser from BT wholesale website stating there might be a issue with credentials or the provider might not have setup correctly. Any help would be appreciated as I was planning to work from home tomorrow , Thanks
