Hello All, I've just requested my connection be switched to ADSL2+ since the exchange was upgraded. I've read that if you want you can sacrifice some of your download speed for increased upload speed by using Annexe M - is this something that you just reconfigure on your router, or do you have to request it from Plusnet?
thanks

Hi Robtheplod,
AnnexM is something that's only available on business and not something you can just do from your router, it has to be configured at the exchange.

But remember that faster upload speeds are available, if you ask for it, that is nothing to do with Annex M.
On 21CN it is free to get the upstream uncapped (on 20CN there is a charge): The change can take your upstream from 448Kbps to around 1Mbps, although it can affect your total downstream. If you try it, and don't like the effect on the downstream, then you can ask for the cap to be put back in place.
Not as much of an improvement as the annex M change, but not to be sniffed at either.
