Annex L - REadsl2

Can anyone shed any light on whether Annex L is supported by plusnet. I am on a very long line with attn circa 68db. My router allows me to select Annex L/readsl2 and it connects and is stable at a higher speed than g.dmt/g.992.3
I am assuming it is supported as my router will connect???

Re: Annex L - REadsl2

Never heard of it before myself.
For info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G.992.3_Annex_L aka 'Reach Extended ADSL2'
Unlikely to get any staff response until the morning I'm afraid.
[Edit] I stand corrected (see below!).

Hi Kielty,
We don't offer Annex L I'm afraid. I'd be happy to take a look at your line though to ensure you're getting the best speeds possible?

Re: Annex L - REadsl2

thanks Chris, i have been mucking about with the modulation and i think i have the best speed i can get. Not much difference between g.dmt and g.992.3 but a bit more stable it appears on g.dmt.
will use that for a bit and see how it goes..

Re: Annex L - REadsl2

Yes, your line does look quite good in terms of speed, given it's length.
