Am I "suffering" the missing 2.5 Mbps?

I confess that I am not hugely bothered as I scarcely miss it  Smiley BT profile 38.72 Mbps - Plusnet current line speed 37 Mbps. The latter was set by Plusnet shortly after I went live on FTTC in October last year.

Download speed achieved during the test was - 34 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 12 Mbps-38.72 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 38.72 Mbps

However, if easily fixed I should be gratefull

Re: Am I "suffering" the missing 2.5 Mbps?

Hi adagio,
I've put you on a profile we used for our trialists and see if that makes a difference. It can take about 15 minutes or so to take effect though. Let me know if you see any increase.

Hi Jojo,
Woulld there any merit in you doing the same for me as I think I am seeing the same issue as Adajio.  Also see http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,102285.msg871842.html#msg871842?

Hi adagio,
Glad to know that works, it'll give us something to go on.
Hi chrisjbzero,
I've done that now, should take about 15 minutes.

Re: Am I "suffering" the missing 2.5 Mbps?

@Jojo,  Many thanks indeed.  I am not sure how changing the IP Profile to 20M has fixed this but I am now getting my DL speed back to 37m+

Re: Am I "suffering" the missing 2.5 Mbps?

Although my speed fluctuates dependant on time of day, this kind of speed is not uncommon on my connection and my PN Profile is set at 37mb.
