Advice setting up TalkTalk essentials router (d-link DSL-3780) on Plusnet please

Hi
Have just moved over to Plusnet and, in a bout of penny pinching have opted to use the above router rather than get one from Plusnet but I seem to be having some problems getting connected. I have managed to login into the router (by typing in the http//number and admin admin etc) A d-link control panel is displayed with some red and green tick/crosses etc. The wifi is green but internet connection in red -  I gues the first thing to ask is the router locked to Taltalk? if not what do I need to do
Your gratefully
Ben

It might be but the first thing to try is a hard reset

Some TalkTalk routers aren't locked. Once you've logged in to the router is there a page called 'DSL settings' or similar? If so try entering your plusnet connection details in to that page.
