Able to nslookup but no ping? Ideas?

Hi all,
Just had our Plusnet new line installed- had a fault on the phone line, which is fixed- but am now having BB troubles.
But of a weird one- running a Linksys router + Win7 PC plugged in via Ethernet.
I am able to run a nslookup from the PC, which resolves the IP address- but I am unable to ping anything, including Googles DNS 8.8.8.8? Not seen anything like this before
I can however ping 8.8.8.8 from the router itself.
Router was and has always worked flawlessly with our old TalkTalk line.
Any ideas?

Any ideas?

Not explicitly but it's clearly a fault and can see we've got a ticket open to investigate that anyway.

You haven't got any DNS set on your computer network settings have you?

Incorrect gateway on your computer would cause these symptoms I believe - follow 30FTTC06's advice and paste here
