ATA Hardware set-up - Linksys RTP300

Hello,
I am new to Broadband Phone but fairly IT competent, however I am having trouble setting up my Broadband/VOIP phone using a Linksys RTP300 router/ATA device.
The router appears to be working fine, it is connected to my ADSL modem via an ethernet cable plugged into the Internet port and the Internet LED is lit and I have a standard analogue phone (set to Tone, not Pulse dialling) connected to the Phone 1 port.
I have logged into the RPT300 Web Utility, and have accessed the Voice section into which I have entered my settings, however I am not confident these have been entered in the correct places.  On the basic screen, there are not sufficient fields for my settings and the Advanced screen there are so many settings that it is hard for me to see what I should be entering where?  I have listed the settings provided by my ISP/VoIP below:-
Sip domain or realm - sip2.plus.net
proxy server - nat.plus.net:5082
registrar port - 5060
proxy port - 5082
expire time - 3600
and of course... my SIP ID & SIP password!
Can any point me in the right direction, I have read the ATA Admin guide from the Linksys website but was unable to get much information from this and the user-guide which comes with my device gives no advice regarding the Voice tab.
If anyone can help, I'd be very grateful!
Thanks, Chrissi

Re: ATA Hardware set-up - Linksys RTP300

I'm not fimilar with this device but I believe the settings that you have supplied are all for SIP. So my suggestion will be try these

Sip domain or realm - sip.plus.net  (I believe sip2 will be phased out over time)
proxy server - sip.plus.net
registrar port - 5060
proxy port - 5060
Then go to the advance options and look for STUN and NAT setting. STUN should be disabled and then look for outbound proxy or nat setting and enter nat.plus.net:5082.

You might find this post on another forum helpful http://forum.voxilla.com/broadvoice-support-forum/configuring-linksys-rtp300-broadvoice-22551.html
It seems to suggest that you need to go to 'switch to advanced view' after logging in
According to the post you should then be able to see the Outbound proxy fields and fill in the details as described by 'itsme'

Re: ATA Hardware set-up - Linksys RTP300

Thank you to everyone who has responded - I have entered in the settings you have suggested and having spoken to Plus.net I can report that my device is 'registered' which according to the Plus.net Technical guys means I should have a dialing tone.... but I still haven't!
As the device is registered, but I have no dialing tone I thought it might be the regional settings, and I have attached a screen-shot of the regional screen along with screen-shots of the other screens incase anyone can point out where I am going wrong?
If anyone has time to review these I'd be really grateful!
Thanks, Chrissi

Re: ATA Hardware set-up - Linksys RTP300

I'm not familiar with the RTP300 but I've had a look at your settings and can't see anything obviously wrong...
Having a quick google for rtp300 turns up this http://forum.tpad.com/viewtopic.php?p=2141
which seems to be a similar problem ( although on a much earlier firware than you ) which was solved by upgrading the firmware to 3.1.24 ( yours seems to be 3.1.16 ).
A firmware upgrade may be worth a try... ( unless someone else comes up with a better idea )

Also check if under the voice tab of the admin page of the router if the "enable IP dialing" is set to "no" for you to have outgoing calls.

Its not that simple is it ?
